Rotas RFId active tags
In the big RFID world, the active tags have a battery power supply and this distinguish them from the passive tags. This power supply is necessary for the data transmission and it does not come from the readers, like for the passive tags. This means that the power needed for the transmissions from readers to tags is much lower than in the passive reading, even with the same transmission’s frequency.
